InnovateEDU’s Executive Director, Erin Mote, accepted into Forbes Nonprofit Council
Forbes Nonprofit Council Is an Invitation-Only Community for Chief Executives in Successful Nonprofit Organizations
Brooklyn, NY - April 2021 - InnovateEDU’s Executive Director, Erin Mote, has been accepted into Forbes Nonprofit Council, an invitation-only community for chief executives in successful nonprofit organizations. Since its founding in 2014, Erin has led InnovateEDU and its major projects including technology product development, work on data interoperability and data systems, and an urban-education Fellowship for new educators. She has grown the organization to have a national footprint and an annual operating budget of just under $4 million dollars.
Erin was vetted and selected by a review committee based on the depth and diversity of her experience. Criteria for acceptance include a track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements and honors.
“We are honored to welcome Erin Mote into the community,” said Scott Gerber, founder of Forbes Councils, the collective that includes Forbes Nonprofit Council. “Our mission with Forbes Councils is to bring together proven leaders from every industry, creating a curated, social capital-driven network that helps every member grow professionally and make an even greater impact on the business world.”
As an accepted member of the Council, Erin has access to a variety of exclusive opportunities designed to help her reach peak professional influence. She will connect and collaborate with other respected local leaders in a private forum. Erin will also be invited to work with a professional editorial team to share her expert insights in original business articles on Forbes.com, and to contribute to published Q&A panels alongside other experts.
Finally, Erin and InnovateEDU will benefit from exclusive access to vetted business service partners, membership-branded marketing collateral, and the high-touch support of the Forbes Councils member concierge team.
“I’d like to thank Scott Gerber and the Forbes Nonprofit Council team for welcoming me and providing this opportunity for further collaboration, especially the opportunity to contribute my voice on Forbes.com,” Erin shared. “InnovateEDU strives to consistently further our goal of accelerating innovation to improve learning outcomes for students furthest from opportunity. My acceptance into the Council will enable us to gain value from others, while cementing our role as a contributor in this space.”
